A non-refundable admissions fee of $50 is payable with each student’s admission application. A registration fee of $275 per student is due upon acceptance. Tuition for one student is $4,707 per year. There is a discount in tuition for additional children enrolling from the same family. Tuition may be paid over a 12-month period starting in July and ending in June. Other fees are detailed in the Tuition Information sections.
Children must be 5 years old by Sept. 1st to begin kindergarten. All students registered for kindergarten are given a screening test to check for school readiness. This testing is generally done in March and April. The principal may request placement tests for older students transferring from other schools. The principal may also request an interview with the student and parents.
Each February the school hosts an Open house where our principal, Sr. Anne Louise, presents an overview of the school and answers questions. Tours of the school are offered at the open house. Tours are also conducted on a monthly basis from August through April. Call the school registrar to schedule a tour.
To apply for admission to school, click the Apply Now button below and complete the admissions application. A non-refundable $50 admissions fee must be paid at the time you apply. Debit, credit card and bank draft are accepted.
Upon receipt of the application and fee, prospective students will be placed on the enrollment list (or waiting list if no opening is available at the time of application) and the registrar will schedule appointments for testing. Payment of the application fee does not guarantee placement in the school.

Kindergarten screening for prospective students is administered by STAS teachers in the school cafeteria. Screening determines readiness for kindergarten and takes approximately one hour. Students are evaluated on visual and listening comprehension skills, knowledge of numbers, letters, shapes and colors, the ability to print first and last names (no nicknames), and motors skills.

Registrar accepts applications to pre-register students for school year 2019-2020. (Kindergarten students must be 5 years old prior to September 1st).
*The principal requires a placement test for students seeking enrollment in grades 1 – 8. Prior to acceptance, students seeking to enroll in mid-school must attend a one-day session at St. Thomas Aquinas School as part of the admissions process. The mid-school placement test will be given at that time.
