Wellness

Our school health office is staffed with a full time registered nurse. She partners with families and staff in promoting a healthy and safe learning environment. This includes following state guidelines for illness and immunization requirements. Provided for students is basic first aid and an open door policy to express any needs that come up throughout the day. 

Our school nurse, Lenna Martin started her medical career as Combat Medic for the Army Reserves in 2000. She became a Registered Nurse in 2009. She joined our school in August of 2020. 

Reminders:

• We are a nut free school.
• For students entering Kindergarten or Pre K, a current copy of your students immunization record must include their 4 year old vaccines. 
• If your student has had all their immunizations in NM, you can obtain a copy of their record by going to vaxviewnm.org.
